What does the noun Underquoting mean?
The practice of advertising or representing a property's expected selling price as lower than the agent's genuine estimate or the seller's minimum acceptable price, in order to attract more buyer interest. Underquoting is illegal under the Australian Consumer Law and subject to penalties in all states and territories.
