What does the noun Capitalisation mean?
Adding a cost such as an LMI premium to your loan balance instead of paying it upfront. You then pay interest on that amount for the remaining life of the loan, increasing its true cost over time.
How the noun Capitalisation is used
We chose to capitalise the LMI premium onto our loan rather than pay $15,000 upfront, knowing it would cost more in interest over time.
